Independence Day Celebration in Colonial Williamsburg
Celebrate the Fourth of July with a family-friendly evening of sumptuous food, stellar entertainment, and reserved seating for the fireworks. Feast on a come-and-go as you please buffet dinner at the Williamsburg Lodge with entertainment by The Jangling Reinharts. Arrive early or stay after dinner for children’s games and activities on the Virginia Lawn. A cash bar will open at 4 p.m. Be led by the Fifes and Drums to your seats on Palace Green at 7:15 p.m. to watch the fireworks.

July 4th Weekend events at Yorktown Victory Center

Salute the 239th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence during “Liberty Celebration” July 4-5 at the Yorktown Victory Center, a museum of the American Revolution.

The 4th of July Cook-in at The WISC.  
10am-4pm
$10/person or $30/family

Includes: Unlimited access to The Zone, Indoor Turf activities will include corn hole, smash can, wiffle ball, kickball and dodgeball games. The Cafe will be open with $4 meal deals!

The Zone will be Open July 4th ---9am-10pm.  

Other areas of WISC will be closed except the Fitness Center will be open 9am-6pm.

Come salute America along the Yorktown waterfront beginning with a 9 am patriotic parade on Water Street. Evening activities feature: a bell-ringing ceremony at 7 pm, live musical entertainment at 8 pm at Riverwalk Landing, and spectacular fireworks on the York River at 9:15 p.m. Free. 757.890.3500

"Spirit of Americaat the Abbitt Planetarium at Virginia Living Museum from 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM, Recommended for ages 6 and up. VLM members free, non-members $4 plus admission.

Raining outside? Can’t stand the mosquitoes? All the good viewing spots taken? No worries! Come enjoy the most amazing 4th of July laser displays in our nice cool theater! Join us in the Abbitt Planetarium for a celebration of America. Spirit of America mixes great patriotic music with America-inspired rock & roll and songs that have defined American music. Rock on to great artists like John Fogerty, Garth Brooks, Lee Greenwood and so many, many more.

Recommended for ages 6 and up.
