Nautical Dog, located in Williamsburg, Virginia is a favorite store for people and their pets! We originally opened in 2006 and moved locations in 2008 to the New Town Shops on Main.
Owner Amanda Wilbourne opened the store a year after graduating high school and the store has come a long way. Amanda has 7 pets of her own; a lab, corgi, & 5 cats. On any given day you can usually find Roxy & Brownie at the store taste tasting & sampling new products. The store’s shop cat Schwartzy is usually behind the counter waiting for love from the customers.
We are very passionate about what the store offers and offer a wide variety of merchandise for pets & for the pet lover. While browsing through the store you will find food, treats, a dog bakery, cookie bar, collars, leads, gifts for the pet lover, & more!
In addition the variety of merchandise The Nautical Dog holds many adoption events, fundraisers, and fun events for dogs to attend. We are a huge supporter of our local Humane Society, Heritage Humane Society. Amanda volunteers with the shelter & five of her animals are from there.
Did you know when you purchase food locally at Nautical Dog for New Hope Rescue they earn rewards for free bags of food? We offer a frequent buyer program for almost all of our pet foods and once 12 bags have been purchased they will get the 13th for free! This program is not offered for online retailers.
Don't worry if you can't make it into the store, we can take orders over the phone. Just mention you are donating to New Hope Rescue and we will place it in their donation bin.
