Walsingham Academy - 1100 Jamestown Road

NEW DATE/TIME: Saturday, April 5, 9:00 AM

Age Groups:

  • 2 years old and younger
  • 3 and 4 year olds
  • 5 to 7 year olds

The Easter Bunny is making an appearance in Williamsburg! Come out to the Walsingham Academy Green for community fun and celebrate the Easter Season. Enjoy face painting, juggling, activities, and the Easter Bunny! Hop on over to Walsingham Academy for a fun, public Easter Egg Hunt for children age 7 and younger. This event is FREE and open to the community. We’ll section off the Walsingham Academy Green into 3 age groups and one lucky winner in each age group will pick up an egg with a special prize voucher for a grand prize!  Bring a friend and make some new ones at the 2014 Egg Hunt on The Green.

Hop on over to the Wellspring United Methodist Church for a fun Easter egg hunt and celebration. The kids will enjoy finding eggs, quality time and pictures with Easter bunny, snacks, crafts and cake walk. Event is free of charge!

Easter Egg Extravaganza

With over 10,000 eggs for the hunts, these events are ones to see! Hunts are divided by age and will be held in the Wanner Stadium and at the Abram Frink Jr. Community Center. Also enjoy face painting, refreshments for purchase and more! Bring your Easter basket and your camera! . Co-sponsor: Williamsburg Parks and Recreation.

  • Wanner Stadium/Warhill Sports Complex, 9:30-11:30 a.m.: walking-2 years, 10 a.m.; 3 years, 10:15 a.m.; 4 years, 10:30 a.m.; 5 years, 10:45 a.m.; 6 years, 11 a.m.; 7 years, 11:15 a.m. Please enter the Stadium from the Thomas Nelson Community College entrance.

King of Glory Lutheran Church Easter Egg Hunt: - 10am - 12pm. All ages welcome! Open to the community.

Lee Hall Mansion Easter Bunny and the Great Egg Hunt - 10am - $5
Lee Hall Mansion, 163 Yorktown Road, Newport News, VA.  
For children up to age 12. Admission: $5 per child. No charge for adult guardians. 
The Easter Bunny will be on hand for games and photo ops. Experience the Antebellum south and tour Lee Hall Mansion. Learn about the history of Richard D. Lee and his family as well as the Peninsula Campaign of 1862.
Admission is $5.00 per child.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Sandy Bottom Nature Park 
Sandy Bottom Nature Park, 1255 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA. Phone: 757-825-4834. 
The Easter Eggstravaganza will be held at Sandy Bottom Nature Park. There will be fun for the whole family. Events include 10 Easter egg hunts for each age group and they will begin every half hour. The first hunt starts at 10am and the last hunt will be at 2:30pm. The age groups are 3-6 and 7-12 years of age. There will be 250 tickets max (25 children per hunt per age group) so come early to get your tickets for the age group you need. Each child receives a goodie bag. There will also be a children's craft area, prizes, food sales, Easter bunny and other goodies. Photos with the Easter bunny are an additional $5. The children will be "eggstatic" about this event. This event is $5 per child, adults are free.

Hampton University's Easter by the Bay E-G-G-stravaganza
12:00pm - 3:00pm
Children ten-years-old and younger and their parents are invited to come out and celebrate a day of Easter fun. This event is free and open to the public.
The E-G-G-stravaganza will be an action packed event filled with activities for all ages. Children will be able to participate in an Easter egg hunt and enjoy face painting, balloon artists, games, a giant inflatable slide and quality time with the Easter bunny and other live cartoon characters.

Virginia Living Museum - Story time with the Easter Bunny at 10am - 2 years and above.
