Saturday, May 30,  2015- CHILDREN'S DAY

8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.


It's Children’s Day at the Market! This special event is presented in partnership with SHIP (WJCC Schools Health Initiative Program).  Special events include;

  • SHIP Tent with games, tattoos, and a scavenger hunt ($2 in fresh bucks for completion of the scavenger hunt)
  • Cooking demos by Chef Vega, Chef Marie, and SHIP's registered dietician, Pam Dannon
  • Cooking demos start at 9:30 AM at the Chef's Tent
  • Come taste the new Zesty Spinach Salad and Cowboy Pasta Salad
  • FREE PARKING FROM 8AM-NOON IN LOT P6 


Over 30 vendors will bring strawberries, asparagus, plants, eggs, spring produce, artisan chocolate, cheese, meats, honey, baked goods, peanuts and handmade soaps. SHIP will be at the Chefs Tent with demonstrations. Live music will be performed by Orion from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. There will also be a scavenger hunt!

Founded in 2002, the goals of the Williamsburg Farmers Market are to:  

• Provide healthy regionally produced food to the Williamsburg Community. 
• Stimulate the farm economy and preserve agricultural land. 
• Revive the historic role of the Williamsburg town center as a place for markets.
• Create a fun and educational venue to enhance community life in Williamsburg.
