Heather Hughes Photography was officially founded in 2004. After a decade of photographing stories for newspapers, I now focus over 15 years of storytelling experience on weddings, maternity portraits, newborns & family portraits. I do all of my lifestyle photography in the comforts of your home or at the location of your choosing and have a selection of backdrops & props that can be used indoors. But what I really like to do is use your own belongings & natural surroundings to add more meaning to your photographs and create a more personalized experience that is fun for everyone.
I call Newport News home but local coverage for me is anywhere in Hampton Roads. Including but not limited to: Williamsburg, Gloucester, Virginia Beach, Smithfield, Hampton, Yorktown, Poquoson, Richmond, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and so on.
