Open to riders ages 7 and up. 9 AM – 4 PM, except for Camp 5 which is from 8 AM – 3 PM, and will focus on horse care and basic riding skills. Each day will include a riding lesson, a theory lesson, and lunch by the pool, swimming, and helping in the barn.
Horse Camp 1 – June 29th-July 3rd

Horse Camp 4 – August 3rd – 7th
Horse Camp 5 – August 17th – 21st
Mini Camp – July 13th – 17th
Open to Stonehouse Stables riders and children new to riding ages 5-6. All riders must have completed the Youth Package before starting camp. Camp will run 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. The camp will focus on learning horse vocabulary and working around the horses in the barn. Each day will include a group riding lesson and a fun horsey activity. Last day of camp will include a pool party.

HORSE CARE CAMP 1 – June 23rd – 25th (Tuesday through Thursday)
HORSE CARE CAMP 2 – July 21st – 23rd (Tuesday through Thursday)
HORSE CARE CAMP 3 – August 11th – 13th (Tuesday through Thursday)
Riders must sign up for any Horse Care Camp through James City County Parks and Recreation in order to attend this camp. Open to children ages 9 and up to be held from 8 AM to 1 PM. Camp is designed for students to learn the daily routine of feeding, handling horses/ponies, and doing barn chores in a large boarding and lesson barn. After taking care of the horses each morning, students will have a group riding lesson in the ring.
