The Camp Program is open to all levels of riders from complete beginners to advanced riders ages 6 to 15 years. NO prior riding experience is necessary! Camp is an ideal place to start your child riding.
Riding: Campers are taught Western or English style riding. Campers ride each day. Campers with prior riding experience receive more advanced instruction to ensure they are challenged in all aspects of their riding education.
Non-Riding Activities: Campers participate in activities geared toward the age, experience and skill of each camper with the goal of teaching horsemanship skills in a hands-on format providing both education and fun! These activities may include (but are certainly not limited to): grooming, horse behavior, horse handling, stable management, horse first aid, horse shoeing, parts of the saddle and bridle and horse colors and markings.
Extended hours are offered to accommodate the needs of parent’s schedules. During this time, campers will be supervised by staff with several choices of activities such as board games, a horse video or other stable activity.
