Museum educators help children explore nature and space through hands-on activities, touring through the Museum, and learning about animals.
Ages: Children must be four years old for preschool camp or have just completed the grade level to register for our K through high school camps.
Hours: We offer week-long camp for preschool from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, week-long camp for K-5 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and one-day camps for middle and high school 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

To sign up online, please head to our website page https://thevlm.org/education/for-families/#summer and click on the dates you would like to register for to fill out the secure online form. Reservations may also be made in person, or by phone, using American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa.

Class size is limited, so sign up early! You may cancel up to two weeks before the class unless otherwise stated, and receive a refund less a $10 handling fee. After that time, no refunds can be made. If the Virginia Living Museum cancels the program, a full refund will be issued. If a class is full, please call 757-534-7410 or utilize our online wait list for consideration.
