Free Yorktown Trolley Rides: March 21- December 16
The free air-conditioned (and heated) Trolley is one of the best ways to see Historic Yorktown, especially during peak tourist season or special events.
During your ride, Trolley drivers can provide helpful information about each stop so you can focus on the scenery, the history, and where you want to have your next meal. The overall route takes an estimated 20 to 25 minutes to complete.

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. - May 23 - September 1 (Daily)
10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. - September 2 - November 16 (Daily)
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. - November 21 - December 21 (Fri, Sat, Sun only)

The Yorktown Trolley stops at eleven locations, approximately every 20-35 minutes:
- Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center
- Yorktown Victory Monument
- Yorktown Beach
- Riverwalk Landing Piers
- Riverwalk Landing (westbound)
- Watermen’s Museum (westbound)
- American Revolution Museum at Yorktown
- Watermen's Museum (eastbound)
- Riverwalk Landing (eastbound)
- Intersection of Main and Ballard Streets (York Hall)
- York County Courts & Office Complex

Ample parking is available throughout town. Please obey all parking regulations by using the designated County public parking lots (i.e., Administration Building, Courthouse/Finance and York Hall), as well as the National Park Service Visitor Center parking area. Parking on the grass, side streets, post office, and other areas not marked for parking is prohibited. The parking at Riverwalk Landing is a 270-space two level parking terrace. The lower level of the terrace has a three-hour parking limit, with the upper deck being unlimited. Handicapped parking is available on the lower level of the terrace and in all other public lots.
