Dominion presents Liberty's Ice Pavilion Enjoy Colonial Williamsburg's own winter wonderland at Liberty's Ice Pavilion! The rink opens for the season on November 18. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10AM - 10PM and Sunday, 12 - 8PM including holidays. Tickets will be sold on site and are $10 for adults and $8 for youth. Skate rental is $3. $1 off of ice skating admission with stamped receipt from Merchants Square (one discount per receipt) Ice Pavilion patrons, be sure to check out discounts in the Square available with your admission wristband. The Virginia Theatre Machine presents A Christmas Carol Now back for their 8th season exclusively in Merchants Square, The Virginia Theatre Machine presents their 30-minute rendition of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Showing every Saturday and Sunday beginning November 26. Check our calendar for show times. |

Santa Claus in the Square Jolly St. Nick returns to Merchants Square for the holidays on November 27. Have your picture taken with Santa at the William & Mary Bookstore on Saturdays from 10AM - 2PM and Sundays from noon - 3PM. Join Santa for milk, cookies and stories on November 27 or December 12 at 9AM. |

Holiday Movies and Live Performances Entertainment will fill the Square this season. You'll find street performers weekends beginning November 26 and daily beginning December 12. The Kimball Theatre has an amazing holiday lineup including screenings of It's a Wonderful Life, The Polar Express and A Christmas Story. They'll also feature live performances such as Holiday Recollections with Jefferson and Madison, A Big Band Christmas and Harlequin Holidays. If you're looking for a Christmas Eve activity with the kids, Kimball will be screening free Holiday Kids Classics from 10AM - 3:30PM, featuring the Grinch that Stole Christmas. |
