University of Richmond Hosts Local Summer Reading Skills Program

These classes are designed and taught by instructors by the Institute of Reading Development and offered through a partnership with the University of Richmond School of Professional and Continuing Studies.

Classes will focus on phonics, comprehension, vocabulary, study skills, speed reading, and love of reading.

Classes are available for the following age groups:
4-Year-Olds and Entering Kindergartners
Entering 1st Graders
Entering 2nd Graders
Entering 3rd Graders
Entering 4th or 5th Graders
Entering 6th, 7th, or 8th Graders
Entering 9th, 10th, or 11th Graders
Adults, College Students, or Entering 12th Graders
